Somebody’s Mother’s Chocolate Sauce Review and Giveaway :: CLOSED

somebody's mother's logoThere are very few things I have come across in my life that the mere thought will make me salivate. Now I’ve discovered something to add to that list: Somebody’s Mother’s Chocolate Sauce. At first glance, this pretty little jar didn’t seem like it would be able to have such a powerful hold on me. Ohhh, but once I opened the jar, with all of that chocolaty goodness wafting about my nose, I knew I was done for. I’ve found the mother lode of chocolate sauces!

I grabbed a banana and had to try it immediately. I remember Mat was grabbing a biscotti to have with his afternoon coffee when I caught him looking at the sauce I was spooning onto the banana.
Wh-What’s that?” he pouted ….
Oh this? It’s just a little sauce I’m trying out…” I love being coy.
Being a good sharer, I politely offered him a bite of banana. He tasted thoughtfully… then smirked as he grabbed a spoon out of the drawer. Yes, my husband is even more of a chocoholic than I am. Amazing.

The thing I love most about this chocolate sauce is how it isn’t overly sweet. There is still a natural, robust quality to the chocolate. There are no preservatives, or unnecessary fancy stuff added in either. Just a tasty sauce in a jar! Simple as that. Here’s a little about Somebody’s Mother’s from the site:
In April 2005, Somebody’s Mother and her children launched a company in order to produce and sell a really great chocolate sauce (made often over the years at home by Somebody’s Mother’s Mother) which can be eaten warm over ice cream, at room temperature fastened to fruit, or cold straight out of the jar. What began as a grown up lemonade stand has become a nearly booming business.
I found that each jar has a “lidlit” – little tidbits, musings, or quotes related to mothers submitted by kids nationwide. I think Somebody’s Mother’s got it sooo right. A perfectly concocted chocolate sauce to eat over fruit, cake, brownies, and ooh heated over ice cream … or with a spoon just straight from the jar. You can purchase Somebody’s Mother’s sauces at select retailers or online here. Or….

You can try getting a jar of Somebody’s Mother’s sauce for yourself right now!
