This cute little Pelican toy has since been donated to our local Goodwill. For months, Charlie got a LOT of fun out of him
Charlie is at the age where it is hard to keep her intrigued with her toys. Luckily there is ebeanstalk, a toy website is dedicated to solely selecting safe, fun baby toys. ebeanstalk has enlisted the help of mommas like me to give them honest feedback and help pick out cool toys. Who better to ask to review child’s toys? Us moms are in the thick of playtime just as much as our children. We’re playing right along with them, helping them, laughing with them, teaching them.
Charlie got to check out the Sort n’ Learn Pelican from Tiny Love, a company that makes great developmental toys. I couldn’t help but smile looking at this little pelican. He seems so cute and quirky {I’m thinking it’s a he at least}.
I love that this colorful Pelican helps with hand eye coordination, shape recognition, colors, even numbers… There are options for language {English, French, or Spanish} and also what sound to play {shapes, colors, or cute sounds} as each shape is pushed in the sorter. I’m pretty leery of noise making kid toys, I’m the first to admit after a while I feel like ripping my ears off. BUT thankfully there are 3 different volume settings to choose from {off, low, high} and the sounds were actually pleasant and fun to listen to!
This Pelican stands up to her clumsy playfulness, she’s trotted him around the apartment by the beak, slammed his mouth shut and he’s still willing to play with her! I know there are plenty of shape sorters on the toy store shelves, but how could you resist his personality and charm? If I had seen him in the toy store I wouldn’t object to him jumping in my cart {because that’s what happens, right? how’d he get in there??}.

Trust me when I say we don't normally look this idyllic, picturesque, +/or gussied up. In fact if you were to drop by unannounced {please don't} I'd be makeup free, in jeans and a tee, and my hair would be a hot mess.
Charlie might look like this though. Probably making that face, too. But nonetheless, this is me and my itty bitty family.
