I'm so happy you won the challenge! Other then that, I have to say, you are way too cute for words. :)
Isn't it fun to try and figure out how to keep little ones out of things? It never ends. Alex is 2 and I'm still trying to "baby proof" my home effectively.

I wish I had some suggestions, but unfortunately it looks like a tough situation. I absolutely love your vlog, you are so pretty and friendly!!

Congrats on winning! Sorry about the horrible housing experience. We had to stay when people came to see our house. I was *NOT* taking 3 wee ones out, however, the house was spotless and I took the kiddos out into the backyard, so the people could view the house. You and Mat will find the perfect place for your family. I child proofed out apt. I left things on low shelves that could not be broken, open, or spilled.
On moving, I de-cluttered every time. I still routinely de-clutter.

I love your vlog! You look like such a sweetie and fun to hang out with. I am so sorry about the whole house ordeal – what a mess. Especially since you looked forward to seeing it. I hope your realtor can come up with some other nice places for you to see.

Charlie? Dear Charlie – be good for your mom! Unless you plan on baking, you don't need Karo, sugar, flour, etc. It's nice of you to try and help though. I heart Charlie…LOL

Erin, I loved your vlog, it was like I was sitting there with you having a chit chat. I love your expressions and how you light up when you talk about lil luv and the Mister!
The house debacle – no more of those! Here's hoping of finding the house of your dreams and it all working out.

What about a sheet turned into a curtain? to cover the bookshelf or would that not stop her from diving in anyways? Just a thought, maybe "out of sight out of mind". You could velcro it up along the top, drape it down….

I look forward to next weeks vlog.
    :)

Yay for winning the weight loss challenge and for getting the shopping spree! Yippee!

Sorry about the bad house experience. I think we all have that one memory like that. Hopefully that's the worst one you'll ever see. The right house is out there for you. :)

Oh girl, I can totally relate with Charlie getting into things. Soren is exactly like that too, pulling open drawers, etc.

Can you rearrange the pantry and put things on upper shelves that she can't get? Or maybe find some totes with lids that lock (the kind that snap shut) that will fit onto your shelves.

I've also found that sometimes just hiding things behind a curtain works, like if you get a tension rod and suspend it between the sides of the shelf with a curtain (or even a tea towel) over it. Maybe that would help for a while.

    You are too cute Erin!

Total YUCK with that potential home visit… You are a trooper for sure.

Congrats on winning the contest! I had no doubt!!

Also, I bought a huge fence system. You know the ones that you can clip together and make a "pen" out of? We have fenced off an area that is safe for the kids and that way I don't have to worry about them getting into our pantry, drawers, toilet… whatever.
    Good luck!

Congrats on winning — YEAH!! Sorry about the mess with Charlie, but you cannot get mad at her, she is just SO adorable; and with the house fiasco, the right one WILL come along.

If you can spare the room, maybe you can put some "stuff" on the bottom shelf that you don't use that is "Charlie's stuff" that she is allowed to play with anytime she wants as long as she doesn't touch the rest of the other shelves, we did that with our boys. It worked pretty well, we let them play with wooden spoons, plastic bowls, empty boxes – they thought it was really cool.

BTW, LOVE your vlog, you are so cute, and I can see Charlie gets it. Plus you look so wonderful when you talk about both her and your hubby. :-)

Nice to meet your vlogging :)

I would absolutely not choose that house either. How thoughtless of the owner. He obviously doesn't want to sell?

I definitly understand getting rid of stuff before moving. I wish we had done that much better

Congrats on winning the challenge that Im now so nosy about :)

I'm not sure what to suggest except locked crates for the storage so baby doesn't get it…

    Nice to meet you!
