Now that Christmas has come and gone we can turn our attention towards celebrating the new year. Will you have friends and family over to ring in 2010? Or will you be attending a party elsewhere? Either way, you can be sure to wow fellow party goers with a few delicious appetizers.

Pillsbury makes creating show stopping bites easy! By simply adding a few ingredients to an already tasty roll, you can take Crescent Rolls to the next level. Like this recipe for Crescent-Wrapped Brie – you’ll have an elegant appetizer ready in minutes.
INGREDIENTS
1    can (8 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated crescent dinner rolls or 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury® Crescent Recipe Creations® refrigerated seamless dough sheet
1    round (8 oz) Brie cheese
1    egg, beaten
DIRECTIONS
1.    Heat oven to 350°F.
2.    If using crescent rolls: Unroll dough; separate crosswise into 2 sections. Pat dough and firmly press perforations to seal, forming 2 squares. If using dough sheet: Unroll dough; cut crosswise into 2 rectangles. Pat dough to form 2 squares.
3.    Place 1 square on ungreased cookie sheet. Place cheese on center of dough. With small cookie or canapé cutter, cut 1 shape from each corner of remaining square; set cutouts aside.
4.    Place remaining square on top of cheese round. Press dough evenly around cheese; fold bottom edges over top edges. Gently stretch dough evenly around cheese; press to seal completely. Brush with beaten egg. Top with cutouts; brush with additional beaten egg.
5.    Bake 20 to 24 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 15 minutes. Serve warm.
Pillsbury has a couple other recipes in mind for their Crescent Rolls: A Crescent Holiday Tree {keep that in mind for next Christmas!} and Crescent Bacon-Cheese Tartlets {kick this up a notch and substitute the bacon for pancetta!}. Taking the basic components of an otherwise time consuming recipe and taking short cuts by using items like Pillsbury Crescent Rolls is a good practice. It cuts down your prep time {so you can enjoy more time with your guests and not be in the kitchen the whole time}, without sacrificing flavor and wow factor!

I actually used Pillsbury Crescent Rolls this Christmas. I combined the basic idea of a Rugelach filling and took help from the store with their refrigerated seamless dough. It was so simple and unbelievably tasty, a perfect addition to our Christmas breakfast. Mat was impressed with my fake-out version, as was Charlie {I made a few without walnuts for her}. This would be perfect for breakfast or brunch or as a subtly sweet dessert. Get the recipe over at Snafood!

During Halloween, I wrapped hot dogs with crescent rolls and cut the top to put ketchup on to make a bloody toe nail. My kids love the mummy toes.

I like making cinnamon rolls out of crescent dough. You place the rectanges down and spread with a cinnamon/sugar/butter mixture. You slice the rectanges and then twist two pieces together at at time.

We enjoy just making them straight out of the can but adding a little garlic butter to them. Then bake them up and eat them along with spaghetti!

I have a few ways to use them but one that my kids love the most is

Taken a crescent roll spread it out flat
Spread a thin cover of pizza sauce
Add a layer of Pepperoni, mushroom and cheese
    Roll up
    Bake until done

There's several varieties you can make
