FedEx For the Holidays
If you’re like me, you’ll have quite a few gifts and goodies to ship out soon. From coconut marshmallows, to various Secret Santa gifts – I’m wondering which shipment method is best. I want to make sure the items arrive before Christmas, in tact, and I want to make sure I’m not paying a ridiculous amount…I basically don’t want to worry about it!
Did you know that FedEx Ground shipping costs 10% less than ground shipping with the guys in the brown uniforms?
For some reason, I never think to ship with FedEx , even though I’ve signed off on many packages from them before. At my old job, FedEx was used to ship all of our Monday paperwork, new hire information, even payroll to and from the corporate HQ in Colorado. I grew to know our regular driver who is now my FedEx delivery guy at home! So it’s nice to know that I’ll have a familiar face show up when I schedule a time for our gifts to get picked up for shipment. Or I can always drop them off at one of the many locations near me!

Really? Fed Ex is cheaper for ground? Get OUT!! okay….may have to ship with the guys in blue and the white trucks…they are a bit nicer too. LOL thanks Missy!
Fed Ex has been wonderful to us as well. They provided all the shipping of our Bear donations for Children of Abuse free of charge!

I try to always ship through whoever is the cheapest and will get it there the fastest…I haven't found that any one company is "better" than any other company!
I've been using FedEx for over a year now because I have found them to be cheaper than UPS ground everytime! And they take the same amount of time to ship packages from Florida. They only thing that is cheaper is the USPS one price package, but only if you don't have too heavy packages.
I also LOVE having my own acct. set up, so I can print my own labels and then drop off the packages while I am out and don't have to stand in line at the post office. It is SO EASY!!
