So Far…
So far I’ve met Kristin. That’s it. We got in line right behind her and I didn’t even notice until I hear someone say, “Is that Charlie??” So we kept each other company in the looon check in line. I got to briefly meet Kai, Brooklin, and Del too. So fun to actually meet the people I feel like I’ve known for a while now!Charlie’s had us running around so much it’s hard to keep up with her! We had a nice dinner, though we decided we should just give her helpings of our food from now on, since that’s what she has at home. She turned her nose up at the kid’s noodles we ordered for her. Luckily I ordered a chicken wrap, so she helped herself to my plate. Mat had a buffalo burger again. We were able to have her meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, they adored her. She was enamoured with Mrs. Claus — finally was able to get some eye contact for the camera, but no smile.
After that, it was obvious that she was d-o-n-e. Which was about right, she barely napped on the way down here and her bedtime was fast approaching. I don’t think Charlie’s ever woken up so many times in one night though. It’s apparent that 4 times is my limit. I slipped into a state of sailor tongue and used colorful verbiage at 4am this morning. And I’ve decided I could have slept ALL day with those blackout curtains. Went to lobby for
I’m looking forward to seeing and meeting some great local bloggers at breakfast. Then we’ll pay a visit to the tipper bucket, stop and browse the fudge selection {oh, my hips}, and take a gander at the gift shop again. I’m hoping to find a gift for my nephew there! OH, and Kristin and I really need to get our picture taken together. So I have proof that we did in fact meet up at the Great Wolf Lodge
P.S. I’ll post this week’s giveaway winners once we’re home…and I’ve had coffee
P.P.S. There’s lots to do still! And I’ll have more pictures about our trip.

That is so funny that you just ran into Kristin like that! It was nice to actually get to meet her at BlogHer and then see her again in NY. I haven't really come across any other bloggers locally but one of my now-friends apparently recognized Roo and Bob from my blog when her daughter started at Roo's school… too funny.
Hopefully we'll get to meet at BlogHer this year? Hmm?
Isn't it fun to meet other bloggers? Charlie looks so cute on Santa's lap!
Sounds like you had a great time and like Charlie loved Mr. & Mrs. Claus.. love the photos, even without the smile. She is beautiful!
