ecostore USA Review and Giveaway :: CLOSED
Yes, we still love ecostore USA after all this time. We still use these products and have since purchased other products from them as well!
For a while there it seemed she’d be a bald beauty forever, but Charlie’s hair is growing in more and more. Her duck tails are getting longer and curlier *
squeal*. We don’t use much shampoo on her delicate scalp. In fact, most of the time we simply wash her hair with water. She still has a bit of cradle cap, persistent I might add. I fear using typical baby shampoos will further dry out her scalp and irritate it. So I was more than willing to check out the Baby Shampoo and Baby Nappy Balm from
ecostore USA.

ecostore USA is a New Zealand company that prides itself in offering consumers a safer and healthier alternative to household cleaners, baby care, and personal care products. Their motto is “

ecostore USA guarantees its products:
• are plant- and/or mineral-based and free of nasty chemicals (No nasty chemicals™)
• use safer ingredients from renewable resources
• are formulated with your health in mind
• are safely super-concentrated

• are packaged in recyclable packaging
The baby shampoo lathered up quite well and also rinsed out with ease. Some of the rinse water ran down her forehead {
as it usually does} and she barely protested; where as when we’ve used other “no tear” shampoos she is quite vocal and lets us know she does not appreciate the soapy water in her eyes. The aromatherapy scent is clean and quite enjoyable, not perfume-y. I love that this shampoo is mild enough that we can use it daily.
Charlie rarely gets a diaper rash, thankfully. I actually used the Nappy Balm to help the cradle cap {or cradle crap as I call it}. After her bath, I gently rubbed some on her scalp. It wasn’t greasy and was easy to apply. I remember when I talked to Charlie’s doctor about her cradle cap he suggested using a hydrocortizone cream. And after thinking about it, to me that seems like a drastic application for a child. I’ve heard from other mothers that olive oil does the trick, so I was happy to try the Nappy Balm. It has Olive, Coconut, and Sesame oils in it – which makes for a very soothing, antioxidant rich balm for baby’s super sensitive skin. I could notice a slight difference after her next bath! We just have to be diligent and I’m confident her scalp will clear up.

I'm definitely keen to try their lemongrass soap – I just love anything lemongrass, and what a nice twist on a 'clean' smell for soap.
