I was asked to review one of Melitta’s Ready Set Joe mugs and try two of the Café Collection coffees. The idea behind Ready Set Joe is simple and practical. Single serve coffee that is quick and delicious…take a look for yourself!
In just a short time, I was able to enjoy my coffee. Easy clean up, no fuss. At first, I was slightly skeptical of the small amount of coffee it called for, I like my coffee to be able to wake me up at first sip.The first cup I had was quite strong! Though, you can always adjust the levels to your taste. I definitely can see the Ready Set Joe coming with us on camping trips, but mostly I envision it being used at any point during the day right here at home. I don’t like making a full pot of coffee when Mat is at work simply because I won’t drink all of it. At least I shouldn’t drink all of it! The Ready Set Joe with ceramic mug is incredibly convenient and the price is amazing! Only $5.99 – That’s comparable to buying the mug alone at a coffee shop.
Melitta Café Collection gourmet coffees are meant to make you feel like you have been whisked away to a European café … sounds blissful, doesn’t it? I was sent the Classique Supreme medium roast. Described as “A taste of Europe. Enchanting flavor that is delightfully smooth and balanced“. I enjoyed this coffee immensely. I found it to be flavorful and very smooth. I also had the pleasure of trying the Hazelnut Crème Brûlée… Melitta describes this flavored coffee as “A European classic. Sweet caramel and rich vanilla infused with the flavor of wild hazelnuts.” I love crème brûlée; it’s one of my all-time favorite desserts that I only allow myself to indulge in about once a year. So I was more than willing to try this variety. Delicious with a subtle sweetness, for me it hit all the same bells and whistles as the dessert without the guilt
