For the Kids – Give them Green Toys. Yes! Green Toys are made in the USA {hallelujah!}. Made from recycled plastic and other eco-friendly materials. Made to put a smile your little one’s face … and, respectively, your face.

We were sent the Recycling Truck from Green Toys. I don’t know who was more excited, Charlie or us. From the get-go we’ve preferred toys that were made here in the US. That’s not to say all of her toys are, but we heavily weed out the toys that are made in say… China when we do one of many toy purges. Just saying.

I digress, this Recycling Truck is a fun way to get her in the habit of recycling early on. The cardboard packaging includes little newspapers, cans, and bottles to be cut-out and sorted in the matching receptacle on the side of the truck. The bed of the truck tilts back and dumps everything out to be sorted again! It’s eco-conscious entertaining at its finest. Charlie immediately picked up on which recyclable matched the sides of the truck and then her toddler OCD kicked in and she started lining the recycling squares up. *giggle* From what I can tell, she loves it!

The Recycling Truck is available to buy at a variety of online stores, including Amazon. At $24.99, considering it’s made in the US, I think it’s a completely fair price and will make for a fantastic gift for a little boy OR girl. Trucks aren’t just for boys, mmkay?
