Thanksgiving…
1: the act of giving thanks
2: a prayer expressing gratitude
3: a day appointed for giving thanks for divine goodness: as the fourth Thursday in November observed as a legal holiday in the United States.

#3 happens once a year. Bread is broken together in celebration of bountiful harvests. Food is eaten, stomachs “settle”, and more food is eaten. People share what they are thankful for. All in all, it’s a great day.

How often does #1 and #2 happen? If I’m honest, not nearly enough. I try to make it a point to give thanks each day just for waking up. And again at night for another day with my family. One thing I can definitely improve on is expressing my gratitude to others more often. Even for the smallest of reasons.

• So I’ll start by saying thank you to YOU. Those that read about randomocity in my life and actually enjoy it. Even if you don’t comment. I appreciate you.
  
• To the loyal ones entering giveaways. I love seeing a familiar name pop up in my comments section. And I wish you all sorts of random karmatic goodness!
  
• To my friends, you’re kind of a big deal. You are surrounding me for a reason. I appreciate your wit, honesty, and I absolutely adore each and every one of you.
  
• To the family – The ones that love me despite my blog.
  
• To him and her – I can’t begin to express how much I love, appreciate, and cherish you both. ♥
  

So… with that, I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving. And to the Canadians – a very belated Thanksgiving, eh?

P.S. Totally not sure why that little girl has a knife, but she looks kind of shady…
