W/W Love
Love has many forms. Some are more subtle than others.
Today I woke to Charlie climbing up on the bed whispering, “Momma, wake up”, and began to jump on me. Mat was getting ready for work, after a while he came in and kissed me goodbye and was out the door. Charlie had already eaten breakfast so I started making a bowl of oatmeal for myself which I ended up sharing with her anyway and then I saw it.
A small gesture, but incredibly thoughtful nonetheless. I smiled and took a moment to send a quick thank you via my wifely telepathic skills. It made my morning.
Even if I swapped the small mug out with a pint glass…
