Here’s a great tip for the next time you buy {organic} green onions at the store. Trim the root ends off, leaving an inch or so. Stand them up in a small jar of water and leave it in the window sill. Change the water out often. Snip off the regrowth whenever a recipe calls for green onions.
See? Mine re-grew in just a few days!

Trust me when I say we don't normally look this idyllic, picturesque, +/or gussied up. In fact if you were to drop by unannounced {please don't} I'd be makeup free, in jeans and a tee, and my hair would be a hot mess.
Charlie might look like this though. Probably making that face, too. But nonetheless, this is me and my itty bitty family.
