Flashcards are a daily thing now, sometimes multiple times a day. Mat and I went through a long list of preschool vocabulary words to make flashcards ourselves. We also added in “challenge words”. This eliminates the chance of her memorizing a word simply by its picture or associating the letter ‘h’ with hen {for example}. [...]
This is as good as this week’s fix will get. Just when we thought she was over it, the cold reeled her back in. Poor thing. Yesterday, after breakfast, she was laying on the office floor.
