Delicious homemade vanilla-infused sugar is a sweet addition to baked goods! Also makes a lovely gift.
Ingredients
- Organic vanilla bean pod “leftovers”, insides scraped for a previous recipe
- 6 cups raw organic sugar
Directions
- Place the sugar in a container with a sealing lid. Bury pods and let the vanilla flavor and scent infuse itself in the sugar for a week or two before using. As you use the sugar, top it off with another cup of sugar or a few pods. Shake it up now and then, too.
