Vanilla-Infused Sugar

  • Sharebar
I’ve been using my own stash of vanilla-infused sugar in baking lately and I love it! A little something that really has a wonderful impact, on desserts especially.

I also love the idea of making batches in smaller jars and gifting them to friends and family…

Delicious homemade vanilla-infused sugar is a sweet addition to baked goods! Also makes a lovely gift.
Ingredients
  • Organic vanilla bean pod “leftovers”, insides scraped for a previous recipe
  • 6 cups raw organic sugar
Directions
  1. Place the sugar in a container with a sealing lid. Bury pods and let the vanilla flavor and scent infuse itself in the sugar for a week or two before using. As you use the sugar, top it off with another cup of sugar or a few pods. Shake it up now and then, too.
